I spoke with iFixit.com's CEO and founder Kyle Wiens about iFixit's many gadget tear downs that have attracted so much attention over the past few years. iFixit took apart the Palm Pre and its TouchStone charger that was released this past weekend. And, they're planning to do the same to the iPhone 3G S when it is released next week. FYI: During the podcast I said it was Podcast 29. This is not correct. It is actually Podcast 28.

Hotspot Shield is a free ad-supported VPN (Virtual Private Network) service from AnchorFree. It has clients for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. And, an iPhone can be easily configured to use the service without additional software required. I spoke with AnchorFree's CEO and Co-Founder David Gorodyansky to get a better understanding about their service and the level of security and privacy it provides.
